Dr. Parra completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 2006 at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and joined Radiology Associates of Hollywood in 2007 after her Fellowship in Breast Imaging at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, FL. Prior to entering the radiology residency program, Dr. Parra completed 2 years of surgical training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial including one year in the kidney transplant program. She received her medical training in Colombia at the Universidad del Valle and worked as a general practitioner for two years. Dr. Parra is currently dedicated to breast imaging diagnosis and breast biopsies using the different modalities of imaging, which include mammography, ultrasound and MRI.
