Biography

Dr. Alan Holz is a Fellow in the American College of Radiology, a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and the Florida Radiologic Society, where he serves on the Committee on Neuroradiology. He is currently the Chief of Radiology at Memorial Regional Hospital, Chief of the Department of Neuroradiology, Affiliate Associate Professor of Clinical Biomedical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University, Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Florida International University, Assistant Professor of Radiology at Nova Southeastern University and Voluntary Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has been a reviewer for the American Journal of Neuroradiology, the Journal of Radiology and served on the Editorial Board of the RadiologyChannel.net. He has published articles in the American Journal of

Neuroradiology, Pediatric Radiology, Radiology, Applied Radiology, the Journal of Neurovascular Disease, MRI Clinics of North America, WebMD, as well as, authored several book chapters. Dr. Holz has also presented at the American Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, American Society of Spine Radiology, American Society of Emergency Radiology, Radiology Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Prior to joining Radiology Associates of Hollywood he was twice awarded the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center Department of Radiology teacher of the year.
