Biography

Dr. Batista came to South Florida from Fairfax Radiological Consultants in Northern Virginia, where she practiced both breast and body imaging. Prior to that, she was a fellow in Oncologic Imaging and Instructor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Currently, Dr. Batista is a dedicated breast imager interpreting digital and tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She is highly skilled in image-guided procedures, including ultrasound-guided biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, MRI guided biopsies, and preoperative localizations
